Selene Cheong
I embarked on a journey with Activate in 2019, a decision driven to explore new design fields. I’m thankful and honoured to be part of this company as it exemplifies what a healthy company should look like. The culture radiates enthusiasm, positive energy, loyalty, collaboration, great teamwork, and a desire to improve.
It’s also a conducive space to learn and grown as I’ve a boss who empowers and trusts me. Open communication, recognition for achievements, and democratic leadership make us feel valued.
Beyond work, my colleagues have become close friends. We spend time together outside of work, celebrating special occasions and enjoying delectable food prepared by our boss, Elgan. The cohesive culture fosters collaboration and mutual support, with each of us learning from one another's strengths and skill sets.
If I had to use one word to sum up my experience working at Activate, it’d be "Privilege".
