Julianna Song
Joining Activate over two years ago marked the beginning of my journey in Human Resources, and it’s been an incredible experience of growth and learning. From my first day, the unwavering support I received from my team made all the difference. They guided me through everything - from managing intern recruitment, to planning our Health Over Wealth programmes, to helping me adjust to the fast-paced and dynamic environment.
One of the most rewarding yet challenging aspects of my journey was mastering the end-to-end recruitment process. From screening candidates to nurturing meaningful relationships with interns, there was a steep learning curve. With my team’s constant encouragement, I not only overcame these challenges but also achieved one of my proudest milestones - helping interns transition into full-time roles. Watching them grow and become valuable members of the Activate family is an incredibly rewarding experience.
Activate’s collaborative and inclusive culture has been key to my development. The open environment encourages me to ask questions, share ideas, and seek guidance freely. This approach has not only allowed me to grow in my role but has also motivated me to strive for improvement continually. It is fulfilling to see how our efforts positively impact the team and the company.
