SOLUTION ARCHITECT
Calvin
Starting my career at Activate as a fresh graduate marked the beginning of an enriching journey. I began as a software engineer, focusing on backend development. Over time, I embraced new challenges and transitioned into an application consultant, taking on client-facing responsibilities. This shift paved the way for my current role as a Solution Architect, where I ensure the seamless integration between backend and frontend systems, propose innovative solutions in presales and offer leadership and insights to project teams.
The dynamic nature of my roles at Activate has fostered continuous learning and exploration. Adapting from a technical role to one involving client interaction was challenging, but with the support of colleagues and mentors and the motivation to be gritty in my work, I developed essential soft skills. The culture of continuous learning and innovation at Activate, driven by quality input from the management team, has been instrumental in my development.
With over a decade at Activate, I can affirm it is a vibrant, inclusive, and innovation-driven workplace where everyone is encouraged to contribute and collaborate on projects that create significant impacts on our community.
