Corporate Social Responsibility Programme

Food from the Heart (FFTH) logo

Food from the Heart, 2023

Activate has supported the Food from the Heart (“FFTH”) in 2023 with a series of activities, including door-to-door food pack deliveries and a two-day food packing event.

On 2 September 2023, a team of 17 volunteers, comprising Activate’s staff and their families, delivered 42 food packs to underprivileged primary and secondary school students who are supported by FFTH’s School Goodie Bag Programme. 

To further support FFTH’s mission to alleviate hunger by providing reliable, consistent and sustainable food support to the less fortunate, Activate organised a two-day CSR programme on 31 October and 1 November 2023 as 22 dedicated volunteers gathered to pack more than 240 food ration packs. ​

Lions Befrienders Logo

Lions Befrienders, 2022

To commemorate its silver jubilee, Activate organised its inaugural goodie bag packing and delivery charity drive in support of Lions Befrienders. A total of 54 volunteers comprising current and former employees, alongside their family and friends, gathered at the Lions Befrienders (“LB”) (Bendemeer) Senior Activity Centre on 23 July 2022 to pack 400 goodie bags comprising various healthy consumables and NTUC FairPrice vouchers to the low-income seniors residing in the rental units of the Bendemeer district.

Prior to the goodie bag packing and delivery, Activate also organised an online fundraising campaign between 1 June 2022 and 3 July 2022, raising a total of $8,120. With the dollar-for-dollar matching of $8,000, Activate raised a total of $16,120 in support of LB, surpassing the target of $16,000.

Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) logo

Samaritans of Singapore, 2021

In support of the Samaritans of Singapore (S.O.S), a non-profit suicide prevention centre, Activate aspires to create lasting positive impacts on the community by raising funds and mental health awareness through the #HOWRU Virtual Walkathon in 2021.

As a Platinum Partner of the Walkathon, Activate raised a total of $10,895 through the concerted efforts of all employees, surpassing the target. 35 staff volunteers also joined the Walkathon and clocked a total of 3,658,298 steps between 12 September and 18 September 2021, exceeding their target of three million steps. Activate also emerged as the first among the Team categories for the Walkathon.​
